Christmas in Kenya

My nanny and Gan came to stay with us for the Christmas holidays. This is them outside our house with me and Sam and Ruth. 

This is the night before Christmas. Daddy was reading the story "the night before Christmas" to us. We had left out some snacks for Father Christmas and his reindeer.

They had eaten them when we woke up in the morning, but the reindeer had also knocked over our bin!

I had a hockey stick, hockey ball, shin pads and mouth guard for Christmas because I will be playing at hockey at school next term. This is me practising hockey in the corridor.

Christmas in Kenya is different because it is hot. We had a barbecue on Christmas Day, but it did rain and it nearly put the barbecue out. It was fun. We went to church on Christmas Day wearing t shirts instead of coats. I have enjoyed my Christmas holiday and I start school again tomorrow. I have had 4 weeks off school which is much longer than the Christmas holiday in England.
